Official launch of UMURYA W'IVYIZIGIRO Project at Bujumbura Rural ( Muyira) on 1st and 2nd September 2012

Umurya w’ivyigiro (Sound of Hope) for Burundi was officially launched in Bujumbura Rural in Kanyosha commune at Muyira District on 1st and 2nd September 2012.

I start this report by thanking God almighty for his mercy and Love He demonstrated to this beautiful people through Shemeza Music Ministry and friends. Thousands of people attended this concert and their hope was restored and we thank God for 150 people who gave their lives to Jesus and got registered in our records for follow up.
The power of God was present as seen on the pictures with thousands of people dancing and crying to God and the huge crowd all around and even unto the top of the hills listening to the Word of God shared by Evangelist Aimable Izere on the first day and Pastor Depapa on the second day.
A wonderful mass choir of 50 singers from different churches powerfully led Praise and Worship which deeply blessed the congregation during the two days. This also showed the Unity in the body of Christ. Pastors from different churches attended this concert as well, and we thank God for their support and their availability.
Local Authorities including the Head of the Communal Administration Office honored this 2 days event. During the closing ceremonies, Pastors, Musicians, Local Authorities as well as the crowd joined their hands together and prayed peace in that area asking God to bestow more wisdom upon their leaders.
